Mission: Kiza Amagara is a residential community where people release the stories within to create space for whole life as we love who we are together in this world.

Kiza Amagara Healing Center is an inter-generational, multicultural peace and health institute located in Mbarara, Uganda for people who have experienced illness, conflict, trauma and poverty. Kiza (to heal) Amagara (health) are two beautiful words in Runyankore, a local Western Ugandan language. We are a residential place where locals and internationals live for a season and become wholestically well. An individualized healing curriculum is designed for each member, including physical, emotional, spiritual and community experiences. Members living at Kiza Amagara will spend part of their time working at one of several business ventures which financially support the healing center. Upon completion of the two year program, members receive a certificate and seed money to pursue the life project they've proposed. Kiza Amagara Healing Center, Ltd is registered in Uganda as a non-profit business limited by guarantee and not having a share capital.
