Two Piers

We are a cooperative, open to anyone willing to accept the responsibilities of membership. Responsibilities are based upon the efficient management of our housing in accordance with the mutual benefits of the community. We impose no restrictive rules/codes/ideologies/belief systems at all upon ourselves other than the obvious liberating ones of respect for one another and the environment, paying one's fair share of the costs, and the development and maintenance of collective responsibility. Our structure is as close to a direct democracy as one can find anywhere on the planet. We are active in the support and promotion of co-ops, including the initiating and setting up of the national housing-cooperative representative body. We have recently completed the electronic networking of all our properties with Apple Macintoshes and are presently working toward the greening of our properties.
